Job Details:

This individual would be inside technical resource for customers and service technicians in the field. They would also be assisting with technician scheduling and customer follow up.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.

Oversee technical resources - ensure resource availability, manage training schedules, travel assignments and identify efficient tools and equipment for the team.

Provide technical support to customers over the telephone, addressing and resolving questions and problems.

Advise and coach field technicians on technical resolution

Complete all required records and documentation for customers and for the Company.

Document steps taken to correct the problem and feedback information to the Service Manager.

Conduct training and service programs in the operation and maintenance of equipment for customer employees.

Provide customer support in the field as required.

Actively look for opportunities to sell Company products and Aftermarket parts.

Assist Service Manager in generating operational reports on a monthly basis.

Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or Experience

Requires an Associates Degree in electronics field or equivalent experience. Requires five plus years experience in electronics and electrical/mechanical functions. Additional experience in induction heating/melting and hydraulics a plus. Use of oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, and computer skills required.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, customer specifications, warranties, Company standards and operation and maintenance instructions. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and employees of the Company.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

Must be able to use public transportation such as plane, train, and auto. Employee must make Company aware of any surgical implants, pins, braces or other device that could be affected by induction fields.
