Strategic Initiatives - Manager / Senior Manager

Location: Austin, TX (hybrid)
Reports to: Vice President of Strategic Initiatives

Togetherwork is in the midst of a bold transformation-Togetherwork 2028 ("TW-28")-to become a faster, simpler, customer-first, and AI-enabled company. As a Strategic Initiatives Manager, you'll be a mission-critical operator helping to turn strategy into execution across go-to-market, operations, and corporate processes.

You'll own high-priority cross-functional initiatives, operational rhythms, and AI-infused process improvements that help us move faster, focus better, and scale smarter. This is a high-visibility role for a hungry, low-ego builder who thrives in complexity and drives outcomes through others.

What You'll Do

In this role, you will be responsible for leading high-impact, cross-functional initiatives and operational rhythms that support the company's strategic priorities. You will:

  • Drive execution of complex, cross-functional projects-initially with a Go-to-Market (GTM) and operations focus
  • Launch and operationalize GTM initiatives such as:

    • International expansion pilots
    • Cross-sell and marketplace pilots
    • New GTM processes (e.g., Signature-to-Revenue tracking and improvements)
    • Pricing strategy (in partnership with Sales, Product, and Finance)
    • Consolidation and efficiency of professional services across verticals
    • GTM AI funnel evaluation and rollout

  • Own company-level operating cadences, including:

    • Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs)
    • Company-wide OKR tracking and accountability

  • Act as a key cross-functional connector across Sales, Product, Ops, and Finance, ensuring alignment, execution, and stakeholder follow-through
  • Serve as a force multiplier for the Strategic Initiatives team, freeing up senior leaders to focus on strategy, product, and executive priorities

What You Bring

You'll succeed in this role if you have:

  • 4-7+ years of experience in BizOps, management consulting, RevOps, or strategic program management
  • Experience working in technology-enabled environments (e.g., SaaS, fintech, etc.)
  • Exceptional execution and project management skills with strong attention to detail
  • Proven ability to manage complex initiatives and move them forward across diverse stakeholder groups
  • High EQ and strong communication skills-you build trust and influence without direct authority
  • Demonstrated use of AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Notion AI) in daily workflows to improve speed, quality, or decision-making
  • A bias for action and a passion for solving hard, ambiguous problems
  • A self-starter mindset-you're hungry, low-ego, and thrive on making things happen

Bonus Points For

  • Experience in GTM motions, pricing, or international expansion
  • Familiarity with executive-level operating rhythms (OKRs, MBRs, etc.)
  • Exposure to private equity-backed operating environments

What You'll Get

This is a unique opportunity to:

  • Drive execution of some of the company's highest-impact strategic initiatives
  • Work closely with senior leadership and C-suite across a fast-moving, growth-oriented organization
  • Develop deep cross-functional muscle and visibility at a company-wide level
  • Competitive compensation and benefits
  • A culture that values accountability, transparency, your professional growth, and good humans
