The Division of Student Life; Recreational Services is seeking a UI Challenge Course Facilitator to lead groups through the High Adventure Challenge Course by facilitating games and initiatives to address the goals set by the client using reflective processing techniques. DUTIES TO INCLUDE:
- Follow the directions of the Lead Facilitator.
- Arrive prior to the group start time to discuss the agenda for the day with the lead facilitator.
- Assist in setting up both the high and low course.
- Assist in breaking down the high and low course and storing equipment.
- Attend training sessions and meetings.
- Provide first aid as needed to injured participants
- Ensure outstanding customer service for users they come in contact with
- Perform and document daily inspections of equipment and elements.
- Perform other work as assigned.

- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Complete an eight hour refresher training annually.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to speak in front of large groups.
- Facilitate a minimum of 20 hours annually.
- Maintain personal Challenge Course portfolio.
- Ability to interact with diverse groups through a variety of situations.
- Must be able to accommodate a variable work schedule that may include week days, nights, and weekends. Holidays are rare, but could occur.
