GENERAL SCOPE:

Manages an assigned account, or group of accounts, with the primary responsibility to create value for the assigned customers through the technical service they provide; and identifying new product opportunities and selling to existing customers.A Sales Service Professional's sole focus is to maintain revenue, price capture and to improve gross profit. A Sales Service Professional may work on attaining new business where appropriate, but that is not their primary assignment or job responsibility.

KNOWLEDGE:

Requires extensive knowledge in specialized functions. A wide and comprehensive acquaintance with, and understanding of, both general and specific aspects and the technical phases of the job and their practical application to complex problems and situations ordinarily encountered.

JOB COMPLEXITY:

Usually works without established procedures, performing a wide variety of nonstandard complex tasks using advanced techniques and requiring extensive knowledge of discipline. Analyzes requirements for special projects and recommends methods and processes to accomplish. Supports the design/development of new or modified equipment or methods/systems for improved performance through analysis and check-out. Evaluates and resolves calibrating and troubleshooting problems. Leads and mentors others and lower level employees, may assign work and schedule work flow.

IMPACT:

Impact of work significant to assigned area. Erroneous work product would normally result in failure to achieve schedule, and potentially affect mission success.

Key Account Manager - Healthcare

Job Location- US Remote

Diversey has a strong market position in healthcare providing solutions in the areas of infection prevention, safety, satisfaction and productivity improvements. As Diversey grows its healthcare business in scope of portfolio, and an ever-widening class-of-trade mix, effective channel strategy and development are essential.

Job Overview:

Manage and grow a portfolio of Diversey's largest healthcare customers, encompassing both Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs) as well as Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs) in both Acute Care and Non-Acute Care. Sell large new national and regional IDNs, as well as GPO contracts enabling Diversey to profitably grow market share. Leverage understanding of key end user and sector needs and clearly articulate how Diversey's value proposition meets those needs. Clearly articulate and sell value-added solutions, offering Diversey's full array of products and solutions at all levels within end-users, IDNs and GPOs. Fully integrate with field sales and corporate distribution to drive solutions to implementation. Negotiate contracts and coordinate implementation process for new multi-location healthcare customers. Manage the pricing and product portfolio to maximize customer value.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow existing portfolio of customers
  • Sales planning and customer management, including use of CRM system
  • New business development leading to significant new IDN/GPO business and range, selling new agreements within existing IDNs/GPOs
  • Demonstrate application expertise
  • Demonstrate sector and industry expertise
  • Collaborate with Corporate Distribution as well as Diversey Field Sales Team
  • Manage IDN and GPO pricing on existing and new SKUs, delivering improved profitablility
  • Negotiate profitable and mutually beneficial contracts
  • Contract pricing and product portfolio management

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or extensive prior relevant experience required
  • Five years of experience in outside indirect sales required
  • Ability to travel approximately 50% of the time
  • Proven record of results
  • Strong administrative and analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Computer savvy with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and CRM knowledgeable
  • Employee will need to be able to lift approximately 40 pounds and operate required miscellaneous job equipment requirements

The expected compensation range for this position is between $91,800.00 and $153,100.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
