Summary/Objective

The Video Producer is responsible for developing, producing, shooting, and editing videos for Lippert Components (LCI) products. Areas of video production include: training, installation, promotional, and department specific shoots. This position will work cross functionally to offer media production support for all of Marketing and other departments including, but not limited to, Safety, Lean, Human Resources and Customer Support.

Essential Functions

  1. Collaborates in the creative design and media production process to effectively communicate LCI's goals.
  2. Coordinates video production process for LCI; provides project direction for shooting, editing and duplication process, including planning and management of project timelines; provides consultation and recommendations related to media promotions and resources.
  3. Plans and facilitates studio and field-based video production including camera operation, editing, set and lighting design and audio production.
  4. Provides a variety of video products and formats for broadcasting, DVD distribution, web casting and video streaming.
  5. Provides support for regional and annual events attended and sponsored by LCI.
  6. Remain current on video processes and industry trends.

Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time. Must be able to lift, transport, and set up equipment up to 40 pounds.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time salary position, Monday through Friday from 8AM - 5PM.

Travel

Travel would be minimal and would include shoot locations, plants, and any off-site events.

Required Education and Experience

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Film/Television, Digital Media, Marketing, or related field of study.
  2. Minimum of two years of experience in video and audio production, with demonstrated experience in visual effects, editing and online and social media use.
  3. Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Suite

Preferred Education and Experience

  1. Experience with video and audio compression software.
  2. Knowledge of effective marketing strategy and tactics for video production.
  3. Experience in script writing and grammar skills.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
