Job Description

The Global Sales Enablement team is seeking aDirector, Sales Enablement & Training Production to lead content production for sales enablement and training. This essential role is responsible for leading the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of sales training content tailored for a global sales force. This role involves creating and executing comprehensive sales training curriculums end-to-end, including instructional design and production of written, video, and multimedia content for a global audience. The ideal candidate is a skilled learning/instructional designer and storyteller with the ability to digest complex material and convert it into clear, consumable content for a sales audience, working collaboratively with subject matter experts without over-reliance on them. This position is pivotal in strategizing and implementing innovative learning solutions, laying the groundwork for a long-term goal of building a full production team and engine.

Accountabilities

  • Designing and developing comprehensive sales training curriculums to engage and educate a global sales audience.
  • Executing the production of diverse learning content, including written, video, and multimedia formats.
  • Translating complex and technical product-level assets into simple, narrative-focused content with a human tone.
  • Leading video production and editing efforts to produce high-quality training materials.
  • Utilizing strong storytelling skills to craft engaging learning experiences across various multimedia platforms.
  • Applying basic to intermediate HTML coding skills to enhance digital content across different tech stacks (e.g. LMS, LXP, Knowledge Management, Capability Academy).
  • Independently managing the intake of complex source material, crafting a cohesive narrative without extensive reliance on subject matter experts.
  • Strategically building and developing a production team and engine to support long-term sales enablement initiatives.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications

  • 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
  • Extensive experience in Instructional and Learning Experience Design
  • Strong Writing ability (narrative focused)
  • Strong Storytelling across multimedia (video, written, application/exercises, etc)
  • Ability to intake complex source material (sometimes incomplete or very technical product-level assets) and craft full narrative, translated to simple human tone/language - without reliance on SMEs or product experts
  • Video Production/Editing
  • Basic HTML code (tables, divs, etc.) - Intermediate/advanced preferred
  • Experience sales enablement concepts, methodologies, frameworks, competency models a plus
Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 169,100.00 to 245,400.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
