Financial Reimbursement Analyst, Senior

The Sr. Reimbursement Data Analyst provides support and recommendations to gross revenue, net revenue, and patient account receivable valuation and reporting for the health system. This includes reporting and analysis needs, developing and implementing financial policy/controls, reviewing and monitoring of rate and charge structures, and establishing and maintaining rules, regulations, policies and procedures for government and third-party payers. Additionally, the Sr. Reimbursement Data Analyst will work closely with Manager of Revenue and Reimbursement to prepare, develop, compile, and present monthly reports to senior leadership and explain variances and identify trends. Collaborates with senior leadership, Finance team, and Revenue Cycle team to monitor, audit, and develop recommendations and facilitate project leadership, process improvement, and technology enhancements.

Employment Qualifications:

Required Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field from an accredited program.

Preferred Education:

Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field from an accredited program.

Minimum Qualifications

Required: Minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible financial/accounting experience in a healthcare setting.

Demonstrated advanced utilization of Excel, Tableau, and/or other business intelligence analytical software.

Familiarity with the techniques of electronic data processing and the capabilities of data processing equipment

Preferred: Knowledge and experience with Epic, Stratajazz, Cognos, SQL, Python.
