JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS This position requires you to have received a work-study award.To verify if you have received a work-study award, please consult the Financial Aid Award Summary area in your LionPATH account.A Federal Work Study award does not guarantee a job is available.Penn State Dickinson Law in both University Park and Carlisle are seeking teaching assistant for the Legal Writing program for Academic Year 2025-2026. Current Penn State Dickinson Law student qualify to serve as a TA if you earned a grade of at least B+ in both first-year legal writing classes.These openings are open to both rising 1Ls and 2Ls. In addition to your online application, interested students at the Carlisle location should send a resume and cover letter to Professor Prince atsjp15@psu.edu. Interested students at the University Park location should send their materials to Professor Chong at ncr10@psu.edu. Your cover letter should include why you would like to be a TA and what attributes you possess that would make you a successful one. Please send your materials byMonday, June 9 at 5:00 p.m. Job DutiesEach teaching assistant will be assigned to a professor who is teaching legal writing at their location.
The time commitment varies from week to week but averages 2-5 hours per week.All teaching assistants will be required to attend trainings throughout the academic year. Requirements and Qualifications
