Territory Manager

As a Territory Manager, you will increase sales growth and managing customer relationships within a designated territory focused on commercial refinish products and services. We are looking for candidates with an understanding of the refinish market, including fleet coatings, manufacturing coating systems and related materials used in industrial and fleet refinishing applications. You will cover the portions of East Philadelphia, PA, to Altoona, PA, markets. You will report to the Regional Sales Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a territory business plan to support Zone Fleet and Industrial growth, by identifying target markets and segments, and developing related strategies.
  • With each our distribution, develop business strategy and working plan for new business growth.
  • Develop relationships with distributor personnel and distributor end-user accounts to achieve distributor plan.
  • Sell, then manage the sales cycle of direct accounts.
  • Communicate Fleet/Industrial strategy with Zone Territory Managers and Regional Managers to ensure team approach and mutual success.
  • Remain up to date on Fleet/Industrial product and services, and to Performance Learning Plan development plan to ensure job success and career opportunity.
  • Understand competition, their offerings (products and services) and develop counter programs.
  • Identify and understand industry trends and plans.
  • Be a mentor and help develop lower-level Commercial Territory Managers

Qualifications:

  • Business degree or equivalent experience is required
  • 6-8 year's sales experience in Commercial Coatings
  • Distribution channel experience is preferred.
  • Travel up to 60%
