ETAS was formed and dedicated to support the Department of Energy (DOE) Portsmouth/Paducah Project Office (PPPO) with technical and management services contributing to the safe and cost-effective implementation of the "One PPPO" mission.

The parent company, Pro2Serve, is a nationally recognized environmental, technical, and engineering services firm dedicated to providing critical environmental management services to reduce the Nation's environmental liabilities and infrastructure engineering services in support of our Nation's security. We support the energy, defense, and science markets through responsive, cost-effective execution of critical environmental, facilities and infrastructure, and nuclear defense and nonproliferation projects.

Job Description

The qualified candidate will work with a team of IT Operations staff to maintain and administer Windows servers and ensure continuous monitoring is maintained, and that system vulnerabilities are mitigated in a timely manner through patching, configuration, or other techniques and actions such as ensuring all server OS are kept at a supported and baselined version. Inspect and monitor server room and server performance. Support backup administration and backup process management. Essential duties and responsibilities:



  • Administer and support Microsoft identity services, including Active Directory, Azure AD, and related authentication/authorization systems.
  • Manage Microsoft collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, and Exchange Online.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues within the Microsoft environment to ensure optimal system performance and uptime.
  • Implement and maintain security best practices around identity and collaboration platforms, including MFA, conditional access, and compliance policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy updates, new features, and integrations.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to end users and IT staff on Microsoft collaboration tools and identity management.
  • Maintain documentation of system configurations, procedures, and policies.
  • Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution related to Microsoft services.


Job Requirements



  • Proven experience administering Microsoft environments, with a strong focus on Active Directory, Azure AD, and Microsoft 365 services.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Exchange, and related collaboration tools.
  • Solid understanding of identity management concepts, including authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth), single sign-on (SSO), and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
  • Familiarity with PowerShell scripting for automation and administration tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert) are a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.


Education/Experience


Employee will use their 5 to 10 plus years of System administer experience determined by the company or client. B.S. Degree Computer Science or Information Technology from as accredited school/university. Years of experience may be substituted for education.

This position may require the ability to obtain a government clearance. This position may require reviews and test for absence of any illegal drugs along with a background investigation by the Federal government in order to obtain an access authorization prior to employment, and may require subsequent reinvestigations may be required.
