Mission




  • Support the Quality Control Process, striving for First Time-Right in assembly across all Divisions.


  • Reach 0 product audit fault of type A & B, striving for 0 scrap & 0 rework, by contributing to the Lead to Lean project, through the "Right-from-me" concept at any steps.

Duties/Responsibilities:



  • Main responsibilities


    • Deploy a reactive process, to quickly solve Quality issues.


      • Ensure containment actions, corrective actions, and preventive solutions, while using best in class tools like fishbone, 5 Why, 8D, Shainin ...
      • Closely monitor established quality KPIs, such as scrap reduction, First-Time-Right (FTR), NCM cycle time, and RCA cycle time; assist in the implementation of policies and procedures to ensure KPIs are met.


    • Factory issues


      • Control and manage the effective disposition of internal or external non-conforming material due to quality issues. Monitor the status of cost of open NCM.
      • Ensure the team respond in real time to production Quality issues; support manufacturing department on assessing the issue and working through the corrective action process.
      • Contribute to the deviation decision process, with appropriate documentation.
      • Assist engineering by providing technical support in the development and standardization of quality assurance criteria.


    • Drive a pro-active process, to do the right things in the right way.


      • Drive continuous improvement activities to enhance quality systems, such as 5S, Lean, First-Time-Right, scrap reduction, and process capability.
      • Drive the root cause analysis and corrective action process for customer complaints, and manufacturing quality issues.
      • Execute all in-line and product audits (3% to 5% of final production from each product range to be checked)
      • Maintain all quality records and documentation in support of manufacturing and in accordance with the QMS and specific customer requirements.
      • Contribute in TCM, FPM & PQM to improve Quality and Cost.
      • Develop a Quality awareness among all employees, drive a culture of Continuous Quality Improvement.


    • Support efforts pertaining to internal and external ISO audits.
    • Actively engage as an NPD member, qualify the new product


      • Validate the NPD assembly checklist from each assembly station up to the Final Test procedure, the DFMEA, Process Flows, PFMEA, Control Plans, returnable packaging design, acceptance criteria
      • Confirm the Design Notification & ERS processes, to avoid negative inventories and to ensure traceability of design modifications.

Education and Experience Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree mechanical, industrial, manufacturing, or quality engineering, with expertise in GD&T.
  • 3+ years' experience as Quality or Manufacturing Engineer in a final assembly plant
  • Proficiency of QMS, Quality concepts (6sigma, SPC, Cpk, DOE, 5S, FMEA, 8D ...) & Safety
  • Technical knowledge on compressor, engine, cooler, electric panels is preferred
  • Use of Microsoft Office tools
  • Good understanding of the supplier and manufacturing process of sheet metal, fabrication, powder coating, casting, machining and technology trends
  • Experience in New Product Development
  • Previous exposure to global business environments & global companies
  • Fluent in English
  • ASQ Green/Black Belt, CQE, and/or ISO Auditor certified is a plus.


Physical Requirements:



  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times (rarely).
