Guardian Industries is seeking a Reliability Manager to join our team in Kingsburg, CA!

Lead and develop a high-performing Reliability & Maintenance team to ensure world-class uptime, operational stability, and continuous improvement. Partner with plant leadership to embed reliability-based maintenance practices, define key performance indicators (KPIs), and drive cost-effective solutions using analytical tools (RCM, FMEA, RCA) and CMMS platforms.

What You Will Do

  • Mentor and coach the Reliability & Maintenance team, fostering critical thinking, innovation, and a culture of safety
  • Collaborate with Maintenance, Engineering, and Operations to identify, plan, and execute reliability improvement projects that reduce costs, increase throughput, and enhance capabilities
  • Define, track, and analyze KPIs to benchmark performance, prioritize opportunities, and implement corrective actions
  • Apply Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), Failure Modes & Effects Analysis (FMEA), and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to solve complex maintenance issues
  • Oversee CMMS activities (e.g., SAP PM, Maximo, Infor EAM) for work orders, preventive maintenance, and reliability tracking
  • Manage departmental budgets and spare-parts inventory to optimize working capital and minimize downtime
  • Represent the plant in regional/global reliability forums to share best practices and contribute to continuous improvement
  • Champion innovation by experimenting with new technologies and processes for long-term value

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering or related field (Associate's degree + experience considered)
  • Experience leading and managing teams in maintenance, reliability engineering, or operations within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience developing and executing strategic plans to optimize equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and improve operational efficiency
  • Data-driven mindset with ability to translate insights into action plans

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher
  • Experience working in continuous process industries such as chemical, oil & gas, or energy
  • Background in glass fabrication equipment
  • Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills

For this role, we anticipate paying $100k - $140k per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
