Job Summary

The Senior Strategy Consultant invests our Purpose by identifying key questions, designing and performing quantitative analyses, preparing presentation materials with strong storylines, and building relationships with internal and external clients. This role is a part of a strategy project Team that serves as an internal management consultancy to develop the solutions for the enterprise projects across multiple functions. The Senior Strategy Consultant is an innovative problem solver and skilled communicator who is excited about the opportunity to apply their technical expertise and business acumen to maintain the Company's long-term strategy and plan.

Responsibilities
  • Design and perform high-quality, complex quantitative analyses with minimal, if any, input from project Team Leadership
  • Collaboratively engage with numerous peers, Leaders, and Senior Leaders across the Company to gather qualitative input, research relevant hypotheses, source data, etc., and maintain relationships over time after project-end
  • Establish his/herself as a thought-partner for Senior Leadership through project work
  • Build and maintain a network of relationships across the Company and use this network to help create project solutions
  • Partner with project Leadership to develop insights and recommendations that span the different aspects of the project and are informed by the broader business and industry context
  • Recommend perspectives to project Team members and Leadership to help develop the overall project solution and associated recommendations
  • Help coach and mentor more junior Team members
  • Deliver executive-ready presentations to communicate insights from analyses to Sr and Executive Leadership meetings, and meaningfully contribute to discussions with insights from project experience
  • Determine work plan for project team and update leadership on progress
  • Use extensive experience from prior projects to help develop hypotheses on projects, even when topic may be new
  • May perform other job duties as directed by Employee's Leaders

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Skilled with performing analysis in Excel and developing communications materials in PowerPoint. Familiar with other tools, e.g. Word and Visio
  • Skilled at coaching / mentoring junior Team members
  • Ability to talk to others to convey information effectively and concisely
  • Ability to influence and persuade others
  • Ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense
  • Ability to choose the right mathematical methods or formulas to solve a problem
  • Ability to combine pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions (includes finding a relationship among seemingly unrelated events)
Education
  • Required: High School Diploma or GED
Experience
  • Expert level experience, expansive and far reaching knowledge in:
    • Generating hypotheses and driving work independently
    • Analytical problem solving
    • Partnering with internal and external Teams
    • Communication through storytelling
    • Synthesizing analyses to pull out insights
    • Preferred: Expert level in Excel and PowerPoint, strong written and visual communications skills, with ability to construct a logical, cohesive storyline about complex topics with minimal guidance. Ability to coach and mentor junior Team members.

  • Ability to perform work duties from [limited space workstation/desk/office area] for extended periods of time
  • Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job
  • Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines
  • Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines

Pay & Benefits:
Competitive market salary from $141,400.00 per year to $157,100.00 per year* depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the discretion of the Company.
