Overview

PIMCO's Fee Strategy Team is responsible for shaping the firm's pricing strategy across its global investment products. The team works closely with Product Strategy, Account Managers, and senior leadership to develop, test, and implement pricing recommendations that align with PIMCO's product strategy, competitive landscape, and long-term business goals.

This role offers exposure to high-impact decision-making and global pricing strategy. It is ideal for candidates with a strong financial services background-particularly in fixed income and equities-who are intellectually curious, analytically rigorous, and passionate about solving complex pricing challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Record and analyze fee requests and outcomes to inform pricing decisions.

  • Collaborate with Fee Strategists to address complex pricing questions using structured analytical frameworks.

  • Develop a deep understanding of PIMCO's investment strategies and competitive positioning to support pricing recommendations.

  • Assist in preparing internal business presentations for senior stakeholders.

  • Support the enhancement of pricing capabilities through process improvements and contributions to technology initiatives.

  • Collect and interpret data to design pricing experiments, extract insights, and implement product-level changes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., economics, finance, mathematics); CFA or finance degree preferred.

  • Strong understanding of fixed income and investment products.

  • 2+ years of experience in investments, consulting, or business operations/strategy (BizOps)

  • Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with statistics, modeling, or SQL is a plus.

  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and abstract reasoning abilities.

  • Detail-oriented, independent, and proactive problem-solver.

  • Excellent communication skills, especially in executive-level settings.

  • High integrity, professionalism, and collaborative mindset.

PIMCO follows a total compensation approach when rewarding employees which includes a base salary and a discretionary bonus. Base salary is the fixed component of compensation that is determined by core job responsibilities, relevant experience, internal level, and market factors. The discretionary bonus is used to award performance and therefore is determined by company, business, team, and individual performance.
Salary Range: $ 82,000.00 - $ 88,000.00
