PAY RANGE

Employees and their eligible family members have access to a wide array of employee benefits, such as medical, dental, vision and life insurance coverage. Employees have access to disability and AD&D insurance. We also offer health care and dependent care flexible spending accounts, as well as health savings accounts, to eligible employees. Employees are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan and employer-funded retirement plan. Newly hired employees accrue 6.16 hours of paid time off (PTO) on a per pay period basis based on hours worked (up to a maximum of 160 PTO hours per year) and receive ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. IMPACT YOU'LL MAKE:

As a Senior Quality Specialist at BECU, you will play a key role in ensuring quality, compliance, and continuous improvement within your business unit. You will use your expertise to analyze data, uncover insights, and implement initiatives that elevate the member experience while improving operational efficiency. By leading quality projects and collaborating with teams across the organization, you'll help ensure that processes run smoothly, regulatory standards are met, and quality outcomes are achieved. Your work will directly impact how BECU delivers value to members, and your guidance will empower teams to maintain excellence in every step of their work.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Conduct Quality Reviews: Perform quality reviews, ensuring that processes align with compliance requirements, regulatory standards, and BECU policies.
• Report and Recommend: Prepare reports on quality and compliance findings, share results with management, and recommend solutions to address issues or improve performance.
• Analyze Data and Performance: Lead analysis of quality data to identify trends, gaps, and actionable insights that drive continuous improvement.
• Improve Processes: Develop and refine process improvement initiatives that enhance the member experience and strengthen operational efficiency.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with internal teams to provide expert guidance on quality efforts, sharing best practices and ensuring that standards are consistently met.
• Mentor and Guide Others: Provide coaching and mentoring to junior staff, helping them grow their expertise in quality practices and compliance.
• Maintain Documentation: Ensure quality documentation and related materials are accurate, updated, and maintained according to compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Take on Additional Projects: Step in as needed to support leadership with additional projects or responsibilities that keep quality efforts moving forward.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications

• Typically requires Bachelor's degree in Business, or equivalent work or educational experience
• Typically requires 2 years of functional experience to include experience quality, compliance, or process improvement.

Desired Qualifications:

• Advanced Advance knowledge of quality methodologies and regulatory compliance frameworks.
• Advanced with data analysis, reporting, and quality management software.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills required.
• Advanced in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills for report generation and presentations.
