About the Role

We are seeking a highly accomplished and seasoned Forward Deployed Engineer to lead the charge in delivering transformative AI solutions for our most strategic clients. This role demands a unique blend of deep technical expertise, strategic foresight, and exceptional client engagement skills. You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing bespoke, complex solutions leveraging our Agentforce platform and other cutting-edge technologies. You'll drive the technical vision, mentor less experienced team members, and ensure the successful delivery and long-term optimization of mission-critical AI applications in dynamic, real-world environments. This is a leadership position for a technologist who excels at understanding the nuances of complex business problems and translating them into innovative, impactful, and scalable AI-driven solutions.

Your Impact

  • Architect and Lead Transformative Solutions: Lead the architectural design and development of highly scalable, resilient, and performant production systems. You will champion the strategic application of AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) to create intelligent agents and automate complex workflows, all built on top of the Salesforce platform.

  • Master and Strategize Data Landscapes: Take ultimate ownership of complex data ecosystems from end-to-end. You'll define robust data strategies, design sophisticated data models, architect efficient processing pipelines, and establish seamless integration strategies to ingest, transform, and analyze massive, complex datasets, ensuring optimal data readiness for cutting-edge AI applications.

  • Drive Agentforce Innovation and Thought Leadership: Become a preeminent expert in our innovative Agentforce platform, pushing its boundaries and contributing to its evolution. You will architect and develop highly bespoke intelligent agents, automate intricate, high-value business processes, and craft intuitive, highly effective user experiences that deliver unparalleled tangible value.

  • Lead with an Entrepreneurial and Strategic Spirit: Operate with a highly proactive and strategic "get-things-done" mindset, championing rapid prototyping, iterative development, and accelerated delivery of high-impact solutions. You will thrive in highly dynamic environments, skillfully adapting to evolving customer priorities, navigating complex technical challenges, and mitigating risks.

  • Become a Trusted Strategic Partner: Embed deeply with senior client teams to gain a comprehensive understanding of their most critical operational challenges and strategic objectives. You will expertly translate these nuanced business needs into clear, actionable, and innovative technical requirements, fostering strong, enduring relationships as their primary technical advisor and thought leader.

  • Ensure Seamless Deployment & Long-Term Optimization: Oversee the successful, enterprise-grade deployment of your solutions, ensuring flawless integration with complex existing customer infrastructure and adherence to best practices. Beyond deployment, you will establish proactive monitoring frameworks, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement advanced optimizations for long-term reliability, scalability, and maintainability.

  • Bridge Customer Needs and Product Evolution: Serve as a critical feedback loop, proactively identifying patterns and insights from field deployments to directly influence future product enhancements and shape the strategic direction of our Agentforce platform and broader AI offerings. You will champion customer needs within product development cycles.

  • Mentor and Grow Talent: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of excellence, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement within the team.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline; Master's degree preferred.

  • 5+ years of experience in end-to-end delivery of high-quality, scalable production solutions in a professional environment.

  • Expert proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, Java, Python, Apex).

  • Extensive hands-on experience architecting and building sophisticated solutions with AI/LLM technologies, including deep expertise in integrating LLMs, applying advanced AI orchestration frameworks, and prompt engineering techniques for complex use cases.

  • Demonstrated expertise in data modeling, complex data processing, integration strategies, and advanced analytics, with significant proficiency in enterprise data platforms (e.g., Salesforce Data Cloud, Snowflake, Databricks).

  • Deep and broad experience with the Salesforce platform, including advanced configuration, complex customization, and development across various clouds.

  • Proven track record of entrepreneurial drive, a "get-things-done" attitude, and a strong focus on fast, impactful delivery in agile environments.

  • Exceptional collaboration, communication, and presentation skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Ability to travel 25-50% of the time, as needed to customer sites, often involving extended engagements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Expert-level experience with Salesforce Data Cloud and/or Agentforce platform.

  • Extensive experience developing and deploying complex conversational AI solutions within highly regulated industries.

  • Significant experience with Apex and Python coding languages for enterprise-grade solutions.

  • Prior experience in a lead technical role or as a principal consultant in a customer-facing capacity.

  • Multiple Salesforce platform certifications (e.g., Application Architect, System Architect, Technical Architect).

  • Comprehensive knowledge across Salesforce CRM (Service, Sales, Marketing, Experience Cloud).

  • Advanced experience with Salesforce Flows, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and other declarative/programmatic development tools.

  • Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines in a Salesforce context.
