Description

The Lead Case Manager - Insurance Coverage role acts as the senior Case Manager on the team, serving as a resource and guide to other team members. Assists with daily staffing, work flow and problem solving. The Lead performs all functions of the Case Manager - Insurance Coverage role.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Bachelor's Degree or two years of relevant experience preferred.
  2. License/Certifications: Certification as a Maine Enrollment Assistor or Certified Application Assistor with the Health Insurance Marketplace preferred. Valid Driver's license required.
  3. Experience: Two years of relevant experience in social/human services, health care or related field required. One year of experience in same field of specialization required. Knowledge of state and federal agencies, community resources, experience with community outreach and networking, and strong advocacy skills required.
