Summary:

The Director, Brand Operations leads the Design, Multimedia, and Events functions within the Marketing and Communications Department. This role ensures consistent, high-quality representation of the MaineHealth brand across all mediums-visual, verbal, and virtual. Responsibilities include overseeing content creation, production, and distribution across multiple channels, including video, events, design, education modules, social content, and merchandising. The Director manages team operations, project workflows, budget, and vendor relationships, while fostering collaboration across departments. A strategic and integrative thinker, the Director drives change and alignment across functions to support enterprise-wide goals.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent Preferred: Master of Business Administration (MBA) (or equivalent work experience with a significant business focus)Minimum of 10 years' experience in a business environment or related industry
  2. License/Certifications: N/A
  3. Experience: Minimum 7 years' experience managing: brand and/or marketing initiatives brand management and strategy people resources budgets workflows
  4. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  5. Strategic, multi-dimensional thinking, with an ability to look at the whole picture and see how things interact. Ability to work backwards from a desired outcome to formulate a clear path.
  6. Comprehensive knowledge of marketing strategies, brand strategy, data management, analytics, and measurement approaches that result in the production of engaging content, effective marketing strategies, market research methodologies, and engagement strategies
  7. Understands and represents the patient perspective linking marketing research, consumer information, with product/service strategies and translates the information into multi-channel marketing strategies to deliver business results.
  8. Experienced at guiding solution development toward decisions that improve organizational KPIs, and at guiding cross-functional team members in solution development.
  9. Ability to articulate a prioritized order of solution development and implementation based on a combination of business impact, work effort, and impact to organizational KPIs.
