Job Type: Full-time Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: Qualifications Job description POSITION SUMMARY: * Responsible for the preparation and serving of patient, staff and visitor meals and snacks according to dietary guidelines. Assists cooks as needed. Operate needed equipment to accomplish service. * Responsible for cleanliness of work area, dishes, utensils, and pots and pans according to dietary procedures. * Puts away stock following procedures and pulls items from coolers, storerooms, and freezers QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Training: High school degree / GED or ten years of experience Experience: Six months of dietary, retail, or commercial food service experience preferred Licensure/Certification: None required Knowledge and Skills: * Able to do inventory of items and fill orders to par levels. * Ability to work independently while performing assigned tasks correctly * Able to run and fill assorted foodservice machines such as beverage dispensers, steam tables, and popcorn machines. * Able to follow diagrams and lists to complete patient trays to specifications * Ability to interact with customers in a pleasant manner and able to handle customer complaints and problems.
