Summary: The Senior Financial Analyst is a strategic system finance partner responsible for driving financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis across the organization. This role provides key insights and decision support to senior leadership, leveraging data modeling, dashboards, and scenario analysis to inform short- and long-term financial strategies. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, experience with Power BI and Workday, and the ability to work cross-functionally in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Support components of the annual budgeting and rolling forecast processes, including coordination with department leaders and consolidation of inputs. Perform financial and variance analysis, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to support strategic decision-making. Act as a strategic finance partner to operational leaders, providing financial guidance, performance insights, and support for decision-making to drive alignment between financial goals and business objectives. Support executive reporting by preparing monthly financial packages, KPIs, and management presentations. Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to translate operational data into financial impacts and provide meaningful insights. Assist in the creation of automated reporting solutions using Power BI to streamline processes and improve reporting accuracy. Serve as a key resource for ad hoc analysis, working closely with leadership to answer strategic questions and model outcomes. Maintain and ensure the accuracy of the organization's productivity system, supporting operational and financial performance tracking. Assist with the transition to Workday, focusing on enhancing reporting capabilities and leveraging the system's full potential for planning and analytics. Performs other duties as assigned. Other information: EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. EXPERIENCE: 3+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, preferably in healthcare or a related industry. Proficiency in Power BI, with the ability to build dashboards and data models. Experience with Workday or willingness to learn new financial systems quickly. Strong Excel skills, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and communicate financial information clearly. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and levels of the organization. Preferred Skills: Experience in healthcare finance, productivity reporting, or cost analysis. Familiarity with data visualization best practices and business intelligence tools.
