**Applications will be accepted until 07/29/2025

Overview: Salesforce is seeking an innovative and strategic Agentforce Solution Engineer to join our team, focused on driving the next wave of customer success and growth across Salesforce's AI, Data, and cross-cloud offerings. This role is pivotal in accelerating Agentforce success by leveraging the specialized strengths of dedicated Agentforce Solution Engineers (SEs) for faster use case deployment and consumption. You will thrive at the intersection of technology, business value, and customer success, leading with curiosity, embracing experimentation, and motivated by driving meaningful impact. This position will support the evolution of a new sales cycle, which emphasizes AI and Data, moving beyond traditional CRM sales by addressing challenges like siloed expertise, pipeline risk, and lagging consumption.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Drive the AgentForce & AI Pipeline: You will define high-impact AI and AgentForce use cases across various industries and business functions. This role involves partnering closely with Core Account Executives (AEs) and Core SEs to identify and qualify opportunities and lead discovery. You will be actively involved in the AI+Data sales stages, including Use Case Deep Dives, Proof of Technology Demos, and Estimating Usage. Your focus will be on building a pipeline of quality opportunities, with an emphasis on driving consumption and delivering measurable business outcomes.

  • Lead with Technical Innovation & Solution Design: You are responsible for designing tailored AgentForce solutions using Salesforce platform expertise. This includes creating custom demos rooted in true architecture and data, moving beyond basic troubleshooting. You will learn cutting-edge technologies and determine how they apply to Salesforce customers, producing reusable assets like demo orgs and components to scale solution engineering's impact with repeatable enterprise customer industry use cases. For Principal+ Agentforce SEs, this also entails designing and building custom configurations, integrations, and extensions, and troubleshooting/advising on complex technical issues.

  • Empower & Enable the Core SE Team: You will be aligned as a dedicated resource to multiple Core SEs, providing essential support with complex demo builds, troubleshooting requests for AgentForce & Data Cloud, and AI & Data Cloud Workshop support. In this capacity, you will empower the broader solutions team, becoming their go-to Subject Matter Expert (SME) for deal support and leveraging your Product Management (PM) network to address customer inquiries. This support is crucial to free up Core SE time allowing them to focus on the broader business.

  • Close Gaps & Accelerate Consumption: A key responsibility is to close significant gaps between sales and implementation, providing crucial advisory and architectural guidance to ensure proper setup and consumption. This role directly addresses issues of low adoption rates and is critical for activating 185+ provisioned accounts. You will bring implementation learnings to customers to accelerate their AgentForce deployments and consumption of value.

  • Champion Change & Best Practices: You will act as a change agent, championing new ways of working, piloting, and sharing scalable innovations across the broader Solution Engineering and Go-To-Market (GTM) teams. Furthermore, you will understand and teach the limitations, best practices, and roadmap of AgentForce to Core teams, ensuring knowledge transfer and alignment.

  • Focus on Business Impact & Collaboration: You will work backwards from customers' objectives to craft solutions that drive Annual Contract Value (ACV) and Net New Annual Operating Value (NNAOV), ensuring long-term customer success. This role requires close partnership with product, strategy, industry, and enablement teams to shape the future of Salesforce's AI & Cloud go-to-market strategy in the enterprise velocity business.

Who You Are:

  • Mindset: You are curious, proactive, and not afraid to test and iterate. You are passionate about customer success, embody a growth mindset, and thrive collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while navigating the enterprise seller space.

  • Salesforce & AI Expertise: You possess a deep understanding of Salesforce products, with AI experience being a major plus, and the ability to translate them into tangible business value with clarity and impact. A proven track record running AI & Data workshops (e.g., use case ideation, agent hands-on workshops) is preferred, demonstrating your product agility in learning new SKUs and shaping fresh GTM plays.

  • Customer & Communication Skills: You are comfortable leading customer conversations from discovery through to prototype and value realization. You are a good communicator who enjoys sharing best practices and insights with a wider solutions team, adept at translating complex concepts to Core sellers to set them up for success in new sales cycle motions. You possess strong storytelling and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor content effectively to both executive and technical audiences.

  • Strategic & Technical Acumen: You are a strategic thinker who understands sales priorities and can connect technical solutions directly to revenue impact. You should possess deep, technical knowledge of the Salesforce platform, including hands-on experience with Salesforce Clouds, ideally at Salesforce Admin and Advanced Admin certification levels. Familiarity with modern cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Big Query, RedShift) and AI & ML expertise (e.g., predictive and generative AI, data programming models like DataFrames and pandas, data wrangling, machine learning, and prompt engineering) is highly valued. Your curiosity for exploring emerging AI research and frameworks, and experimenting with pioneering technologies, is crucial.

  • Experience: You are a solution engineer, architect, or technical strategist with 3+ years of experience in enterprise software, ideally in a pre-sales or innovation-focused role. Proven hands-on experience with existing Agentforce technology is required, demonstrating deep, technical knowledge of the Salesforce platform, including relevant certifications and hands-on experience with Salesforce Clouds. Previous implementation experience is preferred, as this role is instrumental in closing crucial gaps between sales and implementation, and bringing deployment learnings to customers to accelerate AgentForce deployments and consumption. Experience working as a Strategic SE across a range of industries is advantageous, and you should be skilled at orchestrating multiple stakeholders and up-skilling SEs with new deal motions.

Your Impact:

Your critical contributions will directly address the deceleration of the Salesforce Core CRM Go-To-Market (GTM) by providing specialized support for the challenging and time-consuming parts of AgentForce and Data Cloud cycles. You will significantly contribute to increasing the total AI or Data Cloud pipeline and improving pipeline progression from early stages. You will be instrumental in increasing the total number of agents deployed and driving increased consumption of Agentforce solutions. By empowering Core SEs and closing crucial gaps, you will help build the foundation to progress and close a $130M early-stage pipeline.
