Market Integration Strategist for ENT Surgical Srvcs - Main Campus

The Market Integration Strategist/ Physician Liaison serves as an ambassador and integration strategist for University Hospitals Cleveland (UH). This is a multi-faceted role in which the Strategist will build, maintain and enhance relationships between UH physicians and independent physicians in UH's primary and secondary service area. One key area of focus is to connect UH physicians to current and potential referring physicians both within and outside the UH organization through data-driven prioritized outreach activity. Additionally, this person will also serve as leader in the implementation and optimization of operational programming that is aligned with clinical integration. Enhancing and improving the overall experience of the referring physician is essential. The fundamental measure of success is growth in referrals to UH community of providers as well as our UH System facilities and service lines.

What You Will Do

• Maintain accurate information on all physicians within the assigned territory including but not limited to referral and practice portfolios, competitor intelligence, etc.
• Through data, prioritize and call on specific physician practices and meet with physicians and their staff to drive business growth
• Interact with hospital leadership for promotion of UH system alignment within community hospitals, providers, and CMC.
• Partners with current outreach team and hospital president and medical staff to improve referrals, relationship, and network development and identify gaps in care for recruitment and additional service needs.
• Facilitate personal interactions between UH specialists/surgeons and the individual physicians in the territory. Prepare UH physicians for personal visits/presentations
• Be a subject matter expert about each of UH's key service lines/locations, providers priorities and opportunities.
• Facilitate urgent referrals when needed.
• Gather and report market intelligence
• Adapt and execute system priorities to improve process and outcomes.
• Triage any/all operations issues which arise to the appropriate operations manager/leader
• Participate in the implementation and optimization of key integrational operational programs that align with the department and system priorities.
• Compile and submit accurate reports of each interaction with physicians and maintain daily updates in the UH PRM system
• Analyze referral patterns of specific physicians to understand opportunities for growth and be prepared to present in presentation, graphical format for all audiences including executive summaries.
• Participate in marketing planning sessions for key service lines/hospitals and other operating units
• Develop strong relationships with key UH physicians and operational leaders and attend their operational meetings as necessary
• Develop strong relationships with their colleagues in Marketing & Communications Department and attend their marketing meetings as necessary
• This role may encounter Protected Health Information (PHI) as part of regular responsibilities. UH employees must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain PHI for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
