Now Hiring: Product Support Sales Representative - Gas Compression Group \| Houston, TX (Gas Compression Sales \| Oil & Gas Support Rep \| Caterpillar Engine Parts & Service Jobs) Mustang Cat is seeking a driven and knowledgeable Product Support Sales Representative to support our growing Gas Compression division in Houston, Texas. In this high-impact role, you will represent the trusted Caterpillar gas engine brand, manage key customer relationships, and drive the sale of gas compression engine parts, service solutions, and technical support across the oil and gas industry. What You'll Do as a Gas Compression Product Support Sales Representative: Promote and sell Caterpillar gas engine parts, service solutions, and technical support Serve as a trusted customer advisor, helping clients reduce owning and operating costs Proactively handle technical inquiries, follow-up communication, and problem resolution Provide accurate quotations, manage contract reviews, and oversee sales coverage Maintain up-to-date market knowledge and competitor awareness Collaborate with service teams and internal departments to ensure exceptional customer experience Key Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or related technical field Equivalent industry experience will be considered in lieu of degree Minimum of 3 years' experience in the gas compression, oil & gas, or heavy equipment industry Strong understanding of petroleum engine principles Proven sales and customer service background Excellent communication skills - verbal, written, email, and phone Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) Self-motivated, well-organized, and solution-oriented Preferred: Spanish-speaking skills Top Benefits: Great Work-Life Balance Tuition Reimbursement Vast Growth Opportunities Job Stability with a leading Texas-based Caterpillar dealership Full-Time Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision 401(k) Employer Matching Paid Vacation, Sick Time, Holidays Join Mustang Cat's Gas Compression team and be part of powering energy operations across Texas.
