Overview
The Office of the State Treasurer is seeking a highly organized, independent and skilled Communications and Outreach Manager to lead public engagement strategies for the Economic Empowerment Division. This position is responsible for crafting and managing communications, marketing, and outreach initiatives that educate, inform, and engage Vermont residents about the Division's programs and services. This position is also responsible for data collection, analysis, and information about the Division's programs and services. The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator, a data-savvy project manager, and a strategic thinker who is comfortable working with a variety of stakeholders-including state officials, legislators, media professionals, and the general public. This position plays a critical role in advancing the Division's mission through transparent, timely, and accessible communications. Key Responsibilities
The anticipated approximate starting salary range for this position is from $65k to $80k. Who May Apply

Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing, journalism, advertising, English, or technical and business writing AND two (2) years or more of experience in communications, public or media relations, marketing, policy writing, or consumer education. OR Five (5) years or more of experience in communications, public or media relations, marketing, policy writing, or consumer education. Preferred Qualifications
