SUMMARY

The Manager of Nursing Education will oversee the clinical education department, working closely with the Director of Nursing Professional Development and Education. The Manager of Nursing Education will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and update educational programming offered to nursing new hires and current department staff, including guidance for the onboarding, competency and continuing education for nursing and techs.
The Manager of Nursing Education will have previous educational experience and be a current registered nurse or nurse practitioner with recent clinical background and strong technical skills. In addition, the Manager of Nursing Education will be familiar with developing curriculum, updating policy procedures, integrating new technology and techniques, managing budgets, and leading teams

QUALIFICATIONS

Master*s Degree in Nursing or Health Services related field or actively pursuing Masters

Five (5) or more years in education/professional development role in applicable field of Nursing care.

Basic Life Support (BLS)

Registered Nurse in State of Georgia

NPD Certification (Nursing Professional Development) within 18 months

National certification in area of expertise
