Job Duties: Associate, Data Governance with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in Dallas, Texas. Build metrics and dashboards to gain insight into data for business stakeholders and senior management, including creating management information ("MI"), curating data adjustments and aggregating by division, and considering other parameters that impact customer decision making, and regulatory obligations and reporting. Assess and apply the data quality standards to the critical data elements. Work with the business, operational, and engineering stakeholders to understand the data quality gaps, and define and track the remediation plan for those gaps. Collaborate with engineering teams, data owners and business stakeholders to define data requirements and streamline integration workflows. Document metadata, data lineage, and transformation logic to ensure transparency and compliance with data governance frameworks. Utilize MS Excel, including pivot tables, slicers, VLOOKUP, and index matching, to analyze large datasets and track financial and operational metrics. Perform advanced SQL queries to structure and optimize datasets for enterprise decision-making.

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Business Analytics, Management Information Systems, or a related field and three (3) year of experience in the job offered or in a related Data Governance role. Prior work experience must include three (3) years of experience with each of the following: utilizing MS Excel, including pivot tables, slicer, VLOOKUP, and index matching; designing and documenting data workflows and pipelines that integrate data from third-party vendors into enterprise data environments; developing technical design documents to outline end-to-end data ingestion, transformation, and storage processes; implementing data quality controls and processes to ensure data integrity across ingestion, transformation, and storage phases. Utilizing SQL for identifying the data defects, root cause analysis and resolution; building data quality controls, issue management metrics and dashboards; and creating interactive dashboards and management reports using Power BI, Tableau, or QuickSight to provide actionable insights to business stakeholders.
