The Joint, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Interagency Division (JOID) provides expert support services to a range of customers spanning across the Department of Defense, Federal Civilian, and international markets. JOID provides a diverse portfolio of analytical and programmatic capabilities to help our customers make informed decisions on their most challenging issues.

The Critical Infrastructure Group (CIG) within JOID provides technical, programmatic and analytical support to customers with missions in national security to include the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Health and Human Services (HHS), and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The Group brings technical and operational expertise in fields of countering weapons of mass destruction, critical infrastructure protection, emergency response, nuclear non-proliferation, weapons deployment programs, and transportation safety. In addition to management and advisory services, CIG staff collaborate closely with our clients to provide high-quality modeling, simulation, software, and analytical products to meet the most demanding government standards and timelines.

We have an immediate need for a Schedule Analyst to provide hybrid support out of Washington DC.



Responsibilities

The candidate will support CBP Acquisition with the coordination, development, analysis, and reporting of cost, schedule, and performance progress. The candidate will assist with the development, maintenance, and analysis of Acquisition Program/Project Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Integrated Master Plans (IMP), and Integrated Master Schedules (IMS). Will support the development and maintenance of program/project schedules, including Integrated Master Schedules, for complex acquisition programs in accordance with the Government Accountability Office (GAO) Schedule Assessment Guide. The candidate will evaluate schedules provided to ensure they meet project requirements and will conduct Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA), Critical Path Analysis, and other associated schedule analysis activities. Will apply strong verbal and written skills to communicate and manage client expectations, understand schedule interdependencies, coordinate key milestones in support of the DHS Acquisition Lifecycle Framework, and understand the Work Breakdown Structure relationship to program management.

DC Transparency Salary Range: $115k-$130k.



Qualifications

Required:

    US Citizen with the ability to obtain and retain a CBP Background Investigation.
  • Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Able to work fully onsite based on client needs.

Desired:

  • Active Top Secret, DHS Suitability or CBP Background Investigation.
  • Familiarity with DHS Management Directive 102-01.
