Summary: Set-up and operate equipment, tools, machinery, and complex equipment to prepare and assemble product ensuring all product meets quality standards. May test products using established procedures. Functional Contribution (Contribution Matrix): * Works under the general direction of a more seasoned team member * Routes questions to the appropriate person * Demonstrates a willingness to learn and improve. * Adheres to policies, procedures, and best practices * Ability to learn new skills and follow directions. * Produce at takt time while following standard work. * Able to work individually and in teams. * Follow the Watlow Way (WW) Behaviors, Values and Principles * Managing for Daily Improvement (MDI)/ Improvement participation * Demonstrate knowledge with computer systems * Models WW behaviors, principles, and values Skills, Abilities and Mastery (Responsibility Matrix): Delivery: * Follow work instructions. * Set- up and operate equipment / tools / machinery, including complex equipment to prepare and assemble product. * Assure product meets all quality standards. * Test products per procedure. * Keep area and equipment clean and organized. * Check and fill out necessary reports, manufacturing orders, scrap, production times, rejects, etc. * Work under direct supervision on standardized duties and tasks using established procedures or written instructions. * Serve as a resource to others in resolution of complex problems and issues and work on tasks that reflect substantial variety and complexity. * May complete inventory-cycle counts and do the tracking of work in progress. * May orient, train, and review the work of other team members. * Must have job skills mastery and willingness to flex between work cells/ value streams.
