Capital Cravings by TCMA is seeking a talented Event Operations Manager to join our management team. The Event Operations manager will provide logistical planning and execution of all events, supporting and directing service and set-up staff, ensuring that client's expectations are met or exceeded.

Essential Functions

  • Coordinate and direct all departments to ensure the timeliness, accuracy, and quality of all food and service provided.
  • Ensure adequate equipment is on hand for upcoming events - notifying the General Manager of any items that will need to be rented.
  • Coordinate timing and service equipment with the culinary management team.
  • Record consumptions and prepare banquet checks as needed and deliver to the appropriate Catering Manager.
  • Report and incidents or issues with food and/or service to the General Manager as soon as possible.
  • Ensure all policies, procedures, and sanitation guidelines are adhered to by all staff.
  • Check room sets for accuracy in accordance with BEOs/diagrams.
  • Recommend and participate in staff training.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Job Requirements

  • Experience working in a high volume, upscale catering venue.
  • Experience managing a diverse workforce.
  • Basic proficiency of Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Able to work weekdays, weekends, early mornings and late nights.
  • Able to effectively multi-task and delegate.


Environment

  • Able to lift up to fifty pounds.
  • Able to stand/walk for long periods.
  • Able to work in a stressful environment.
