DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you will play a supportive role within the Storage Tank Advisory Committee (STAC) by preparing agendas, distributing communications, recording meeting minutes, and tracking votes. You will also review and assist in auditing applications to ensure they are complete, accurate, and compliant, ultimately granting final approval for reimbursements under various grant programs, including Heating Oil Reimbursements and the Underground Storage Tank Pollution Prevention Grant Program. Additionally, you will monitor grant commitments and expenditures to prevent exceeding current authorizations, advising Bureau Program Support staff of any potential deficits that could impact grant payments. Your responsibilities will also include tracking IRS reporting requirements, managing storage tank penalty payments, and coordinating backup coverage during scheduled absences. Furthermore, you will assist with workload analysis during the Department's digital platform transformation, providing recommendations for process improvements and workload distribution related to this initiative.

- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days a week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Three years of advanced clerical or para-professional work which included the collection, recording, compilation, and presentation of office management or program related information; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training. An Associate's Degree may be substituted for two years of required experience.
Other Requirements:
