Description Senior Network Engineer (12-Month Contract) Location: Onsite - Bristol, CT Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday-Friday Duration: 12 Months Employment Type: Contract (W2 or C2C) Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to support a large-scale enterprise environment. This role requires deep technical expertise in core networking, network automation, and security infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver with strong Python programming skills and the ability to support complex, multi-site networks. Key Responsibilities: Provide Tier 3 support for enterprise network infrastructure, including routing, switching, firewalls, and DNS/DHCP. Design, implement, and maintain high-performance network solutions across data centers and branch locations. Develop and maintain network automation scripts and integrations using Python. Troubleshoot and optimize load balancing technologies and network performance tools. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support AV, security, and infrastructure projects. Conduct advanced diagnostics using tools such as Ekahau, NetFlow, Splunk, and packet capture utilities. Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with enterprise standards and best practices. Required Skills & Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise networking (routing/switching). Strong Python programming skills for automation and integration. Advanced knowledge of: Load balancing technologies (e.g., F5) Routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, Multicast) Network security (Palo Alto firewalls, Infoblox) Arista EOS or similar network operating systems Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools (e.g., NetMRI, Endace, CA Spectrum, ThousandEyes). Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring abilities. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in large-scale, multi-site environments. Familiarity with network compliance and security standards. Strong documentation and project coordination skills. Experience Level Entry Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $75.00/hr.
