JOB SUMMARY

Responsibilities include coordinating all reporting requirements, such as preparing progress reports, continuing reviews, and updating records for the IRB and funding agencies. This position will meet regularly with data collection and analysis teams to monitor project timelines and ensure deliverables are on track.

Additional duties include identifying project challenges and developing strategies for resolution, contributing to the development and submission of grant proposals, and creating detailed budgets and budget justifications. The Project Coordinator will also collaborate with external partners to ensure subcontractor agreements are accurate and complete and will obtain administrative approvals as required.

This role will support data collection efforts, including conducting surveys and abstracting data, as well as participating in the recruitment and interviewing of research participants. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for synthesizing and presenting research findings, acting as a liaison with other departments and external stakeholders, developing work plans for research staff, and supervising project personnel through onboarding, training, and ongoing performance feedback.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Required



  • Education
    Master's Degree In related field or
    Bachelor's Degree In related field


  • Experience
    3 years Experience in behavioral, social science, or public health with Master's Degree or
    5 years Experience in behavioral, social science, or public health with Bachelor's Degree and


Preferred



  • Experience
    Prefer bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.


JOB DUTIES



  • Coordinate reporting aspects such as preparing progress reports, continuing reviews, and updating records for Internal Review Board and funding agency.
  • Meet regularly with other staff involved in data collection and data analysis to ensure timelines are being met; identify problems and formulate plans for resolution.
  • Contribute to the development and submission of grant proposals: create budgets and budget justifications, work with collaborators to ensure subcontractor agreements are complete and accurate and acquire administrative authorization when needed..
  • Assist in conducting surveys and gathering or abstracting data.
  • Participate in recruiting and interviewing research participants.
  • Synthesize and present research findings.
  • Serve as liaison to other departments and/or outside entities.
  • Devise work plans for research staff.
  • Supervise research project staff by orienting, training and giving ongoing feedback.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
