Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO) Collections Representative $49,959.00 - $77,699.00 The Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO) whose mission is to enhance the fiscal and financial stability, accountability and integrity of the Government of the District of Columbia is in search of a Collections Representative. This position is located in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), Office of Finance and Treasury (OFT), Central Collections Unit (CCU). The incumbent is responsible for providing information, documentation, and researching non-tax debts to District government agencies, debtors, and contractors. Duties include, but are not limited to:
Minimum Qualifications: One (1) year of general work experience performing duties related to providing customer service in an office setting; and an additional (1) one year of specialized work experience performing debt collection, negotiating and establishing various payment plan options i.e., installment agreements, case settlements, payroll deduction agreements/garnishments; as well as, conducting financial transactions. Call center experience is highly desirable.
