Who We're Looking For
We're seeking a licensed behavioral health leader with a passion for operational excellence, a sharp eye for budgetary stewardship, and a strong presence with county and community stakeholders. You're equal parts strategist, mentor, and systems thinker-with a track record of driving clinical outcomes while maintaining a strong fiscal foundation.
Your Role: Strategic, People-First, Results-Oriented
As the Administrator, you'll manage all aspects of program operations-including budgeting, staffing, compliance, and quality outcomes. You'll play a key role in building and sustaining strong relationships with San Diego County leadership, and ensuring we exceed expectations in this groundbreaking initiative. Your impact will include:
Leading all fiscal and budget management activities, including forecasting, cost containment, and strategic resource planning
Building and executing employee retention and recruitment strategies to maintain a healthy, high-performing clinical team
Acting as the primary liaison with County, State, and legal stakeholders, advocating for program needs and ensuring alignment with public goals
Driving clinical and operational performance metrics, ensuring best-in-class service delivery
Championing a "culture of excellence" that prioritizes staff development, member outcomes, and team cohesion
What You Bring
Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or a related field
Current CA licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC
4+ years of healthcare leadership experience, including program oversight and regulatory compliance
2+ years of supervisory experience over licensed staff, clinical operations, and budget management
Deep knowledge of community mental health systems, recovery principles, and collaborative treatment models
Bonus points for:
Experience working directly with county behavioral health departments
Success in implementing retention and culture initiatives
Fluency in program licensing, audits, and compliance strategy
Compensation & Benefits
Full-Time, Salaried Position
Starting Range: $118,995 - $147,000/year (commensurate with experience & location)

Requirements
Must be at least 21 years of age
CPR, First Aid, and CPI certification within 60 days of hire
Clear post-offer: background check, TB screening, physical exam
Valid driver's license & insurance (if applicable for the role)
