Description Acara Solutions is seeking an
Administrative Assistant to work with our client out in Los Angeles who specializes in Transportation.
Pay: $20 - $25/hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm, could include weekend hours as needed
Job Type: 6-month contract
Location: 100% onsite
Overview
The Administrative Assistant will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Los Angeles mobilization team, ensuring efficient office operations of the department throughout the mobilization of the project. The candidate will have a foundational understanding of Human Resource Administration, enabling them to assist with administrative duties and projects as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support
- Perform general administrative duties including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and organizing travel arrangements.
- Prepare and maintain correspondence, reports, and documents for departmental use.
- Assist in maintaining office supplies and equipment, ensuring a well-organized workspace
Human Resources Support
- Assist in onboarding processes for new employees, including scheduling orientation sessions and preparing welcome materials.
- Maintain accurate employee records and assist with data entry into HR systems.
- Support recruitment efforts by coordinating interviews Job Requirements Required Skills / Qualifications:
