Apply Job Description Weichert Insurance Agency is one of the largest and fastest growing independent insurance agencies in the area. We are hiring Insurance Advisors in our Morris Plains, NJ corporate headquarters. The Insurance Advisor is responsible for the sale of insurance products and will be assigned an active pipeline of leads from Weichert affiliated companies, as well as generate new business outside of the Weichert Family of Companies footprint. We are looking for both licensed, experienced insurance sales professionals as well as those interested in exploring a sales career in the insurance industry. While no insurance experience is necessary, we'd prefer someone with a college degree, and some customer-facing business experience, and the drive and determination to be part of our winning family of companies. We can teach the rest!!! We offer a fixed salary and benefits along with monthly commissions plus bi-monthly and annual bonuses and, best of all.....LEADS, LEADS, LEADS. Requirements The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements: Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred Property and Casualty license required One (1) or more years of related sales experience preferred Previous experience in the insurance or related industry strongly preferred Ability to understand insurance policy wording and contracts Strong relationship building skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products Strong oral and written communications skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Strong customer service skills The estimated annual salary range for this position is $45,000 to $65,000 dependent upon several factors including candidate's skills, education, work experience, job location/geographic region, and/or licenses/certifications. The Account Executive position offers a competitive commission structure and overrides in addition to an annual salary.
