Job DescriptionEssential Duties and Responsibilities include those listed below. Other duties may be assigned. This position is a full time (minimum 40 hours per week) on-site position.
designer/engineering to integrate/package/select appropriate electromechanical presses and servo motors to meet design requirements.
Qualifications - Must be experienced in PLC logic and programming with any of the following PLC's: Allen Bradly, Siemens and Fanuc. BS in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or Electrical or Electronic Engineering Technology preferred plus 2 years' related experience in an industrial manufacturing setting; OR an equivalent combination of related education and/or experience. Certification of AB training courses a plus Language Skills - Ability to read, interpret and apply technical information and other documents such as Company policies, procedures and manuals. Ability to complete forms, checklists and prepare simple reports. Ability to respond to inquiries from management. Reasoning Ability - Ability to look at electrical blueprints, review them to identify issues and ensure they will work before being installed. Must apply common sense and solve practical problems. The ability to look at electrical grids and evaluate them for any problems, isolate the issue, and solve the issue to make sure they are being installed correctly. Ability to identify issues and make corrective measures to fix problems with electrical components. Electrical technicians need to be able to look for problems with complicated electrical grids, isolate the issue and solve it. Computer Skills - Computer literate; proficient with Microsoft Windows, MS Office programs and applications for word processing, email, database management and spreadsheets.
