Description
We are looking for a skilled Executive Assistant to support the Air and Missile Defense Sector (AMDS) Head in providing leadership to the 1,500 person enterprise executing approximately $500M per year. Building on an 80-year history of significant accomplishments, this sector strives to address the most critical problems facing our military in their ability to defend the nation, our deployed forces, and allies from increasingly complex adversary threats. This Executive Assistant role is critical in helping us meet this mission, serving as a key interface for AMDS executive leadership, acting as a trusted partner, and working to connect organizations, projects, and information. The Executive Assistant will be responsible for coordinating and managing executive schedules, preparing and organizing important presentations and documents, and serving as an authoritative voice on existing policies and procedures. The referenced pay range is based on JHU APL's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level with consideration for internal parity. For salaried employees scheduled to work less than 40 hours per week, annual salary will be prorated based on the number of hours worked. APL may offer bonuses or other forms of compensation per internal policy and/or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be provided in the form of a sign-on bonus, relocation benefits, locality allowance or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
