POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

Alutiiq Operations Services, LLC has an exciting opportunity for a Building Automation Systems (BAS) Supervisor supporting Tinker Air Force Base located in Oklahoma City, OK. The BAS Supervisor oversees the installation, maintenance, and operation of automated building systems, ensuring they function efficiently and meet the needs of the facility.This role involves both technical expertise and leadership, including supervising a team, managing projects, and troubleshooting complex issues.



  • Monitors the Building Automation System (BAS), which controls all mechanical and electrical systems. This includes monitoring AHU control parameters, VAV boxes, equipment scheduling and operations, and lighting controls.
  • Checks the panel a minimum of every four hours and provides on-call service 24/7 for problems or emergencies.
  • Stays in constant communication with field staff to ensure optimum functioning of all systems.
  • Maintains and repairs BAS modules, panels, and components.
  • Performs quarterly calibrations and repairs on all BAS devices.
  • Maintains secure BAS documentation in a neat and professional manner.
  • Responsible for daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports, including employee performance reviews and any other first-line supervisor administrative duties required.
  • Scheduling of personnel, including shifts and rotations, to always maintain acceptable levels of service, including support for short-notice projects.
  • Assign tasks and establish and enforce standards of conduct and performance in the work environment.
  • Inspecting and auditing in-process and completed work, to ensure work meets SOW and quality standards.
  • Plan, organize, prioritize, and perform multiple tasks under austere conditions, to perform job functions in an orderly manner.
  • Ability to manage required staff.
  • Additional tasks and special projects as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Seven (7) years of controls/building automation systems experience, which includes one (1) year of supervisory experience
  • EPA section 608 certification
  • Completion of a related technical training program equivalent to one (1) year; or any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved.
  • Knowledge of automation systems, software, and hardware.
  • Knowledge of proper installation, calibration, and setup procedures of building automation systems.
  • Knowledge of the upload/download of various systems controllers.
  • Knowledge of a variety of air handling devices.
  • Knowledge of configuration and modification of workstation operating system software and controller logic


Preferred Qualifications and Experience:



  • HVAC Journeyman License
  • NATE Certification
  • R-410A certification
