The Management and Organization (M&O) Department in the Smeal College of Business at The Pennsylvania State University (University Park, PA) has two full-time tenure-track professor positions in the areas of Organizational Behavior (OB), Organizational Theory (OT), or Strategy. We seek to fill this position at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank. The desired start date for the position is Fall 2026. Candidates must have a Ph.D. (or be in the final stages), a proven track record in conducting high-quality scholarly research, and demonstrated teaching competence at a high level. Candidates at the Assistant Professor rank must have a PhD in Management or related fields by the appointment date. Candidates at the Associate or Full Professor rank must have a PhD in Management or related fields by the appointment date, and must also have demonstrated both a sufficient quantity of publications in high-quality journals and sufficient impact of that work on the field.

Job Requirement: The preferred candidate will have publications in premier journals, a research program with high-impact or such potential underway and is able to connect with a wide array of doctoral students and faculty in our department. Faculty members in the M&O department are expected to pursue an active research program, perform undergraduate and/or graduate teaching, supervise graduate students, and engage in professional service. Onsite teaching is an essential function of the job.
