Purpose of the Role

As an Electrical Quality Control Inspector, you will play a key role in supporting this commitment by ensuring all electrical work on projects meets the highest quality and safety standards. Your expertise will help verify that materials, installations, and workmanship align with industry specifications, regulatory codes, and project requirements. In this role, you will collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary teams to help deliver projects safely, efficiently, and sustainably across the energy, chemicals, and resources sectors. Your contributions will directly support Worley's ambition to be a recognized leader in sustainability solutions, ensuring that projects are completed with integrity, efficiency, and a focus on long-term performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed inspections of electrical systems, components, and installations to verify compliance with project specifications, industry codes, and applicable regulations.
  • Partner with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to uphold project quality standards and foster a culture of accountability.
  • Identify, document, and report non-conformities in electrical work, collaborating with project teams to implement corrective actions in alignment with company and project guidelines.
  • Participate in quality audits and assessments, contributing insights that drive continuous improvement and enhance project outcomes.
  • Provide practical guidance on quality assurance processes, supporting teams in the application of quality procedures and technical standards.
  • Offer technical support during project execution, helping resolve electrical quality issues and optimize performance across project phases.
  • Maintain accurate, thorough documentation of inspection results, tests, and compliance reports for use by project teams, customers, and regulatory bodies.
  • Promote and apply Worley's sustainability principles by championing quality control practices that reduce waste, optimize resource use, and support responsible project delivery.

    Additional Information:

  • This role is located in California
  • Salary Range $87,000 - $126,880
  • Benefits: eligible for PTO, 401k, medical, vision, dental, etc.

  • Graduate of a technical school or possess an equivalent combination of education, training, and hands-on experience in electrical quality control.
  • In-depth understanding of industry standards, specifications, and regulatory codes related to electrical systems in energy, chemicals, and resources sectors.
  • Practical experience conducting electrical inspections, evaluating compliance, and leading corrective action efforts within complex project environments.
  • Ability to assess situations critically and determine effective work methods, while contributing to process improvements and quality enhancements.
  • Proficiency with quality control systems, inspection tools, and documentation practices to ensure project compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working collaboratively across teams and presenting clear, concise information to stakeholders.
  • A commitment to health, safety, sustainability, and continuous learning, reflecting Worley's core values and forward-looking business objectives.
  • Experience supporting projects that integrate both traditional and emerging energy solutions, contributing to the transition toward a more sustainable world.
