Business Analyst 1

As a Business Analyst 1, you will perform moderately complex analytical functions related to the development, modification, and operability of the State-to-State and REAL ID systems application including discrepancy resolution, statistical data analysis and collection, and program testing. Utilize your skill set to develop testing plans and scripts as they relate to system enhancements, new projects, or resolution of defects to ensure business needs are met and State-to-State and REAL ID systems are operating at an optimal level. This professional will employ excellent critical thinking skills to plan, conduct, and evaluate testing activities; analyze results of executed testing scripts; and prepare reports documenting discrepancies or deviations from the expected results.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment
• Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
• You may be required to work during full-day and partial-day office closings.
• Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
• Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree; or
• An equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
