About The Position

The Senior Training Supervisor is responsible for planning, developing, delivering, coordinating, and administrating high quality training.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Plan, develop, deliver, coordinate, and administer training programs that adequately cover the skills and knowledge applicable to the workgroup in attendance.
  • Provide ongoing support for maintenance of existing training material and development of new training material, including evaluation of training effectiveness to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Serve on internal committees/projects outside of the training group and build relationships with internal/external clients to proactively identify gaps and offer solutions.
  • Monitor employee performance during classroom, lab and/or on-the-job training and provide coaching and feedback to enhance performance.
  • Coordinate with supervisors, superintendents, and other applicable stakeholders to ensure that training needs are addressed promptly.
  • Assist supervisors with job shadowing trainees that are having difficulty applying what they learned in training.
  • Will be required to travel to locations in MO.
  • Assist with storm restoration efforts and/or supervise Ameren employees and/or contractors during emergency situations, as needed.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree required, with minimum of 5 years' experience; or
  • Associate's degree with minimum of 7 or more years' experience; or
  • Special considerations will be given to applicants and/or personnel with 9 or more years' experience, in lieu of degree.

Preferred:

  • Work experience relevant to specific role.
  • Experience in developing/modifying and delivering training.
  • Supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.

In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Competency using computer applications, including Microsoft Office 365

Additional Information

Equipment Specific:

  • Primary focus on heavy equipment training needs for personnel.
  • Primary focus on safety compliance training needs (OSHA 1910) for operations personnel.
  • Research and collaborate with stakeholders on operational issues related to specific equipment.
  • May be asked to assist with training for non-electric subjects.
  • Assist with Commercial Driver's License Training (CDL).
  • Conduct Driver Specific training such as Smith System.

MUST DEMONSTRATE (in addition to that noted above)

  • Competency using various types of equipment related to field work.

Compensation Range:

$86,400.00 - $133,900.00

At Ameren, base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees. Our pay ranges are broad to allow for movement within our organization and to accommodate different skill sets and levels of expertise. We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the base salary offered. Roles are eligible for additional rewards including annual incentive payments based on individual and company performance.
