A Brief Overview

This role combines expertise in Voice of Customer (VOC) research and User Experience (UX) design to drive customer-centric innovation and experience improvements. They will conduct customer research initiatives using both qualitative and quantitative methods to uncover insights, identify opportunities, and influence strategic decisions. Responsibilities include managing VOC platforms like Qualtrics and Quantum Metric, integrating customer feedback with operational data using advanced techniques such as generative AI, and collaborating cross-functionally with product, design, analytics, and engineering teams.

On the UX side, the role involves delivering high-quality UI designs, defining UX requirements, creating wireframes and prototypes, and supporting usability and A/B testing to continuously refine the user experience. Strong communication skills are essential for presenting design work and research findings to stakeholders.

What you will do

VOC Research responsibilities:
* Conduct customer studies using modern methods of qualitative and quantitative research to uncover and define customer needs and identify opportunities for us to improve the experience. This includes working to recruit, moderate, synthesize and share research findings.
* Work with data scientists and data architects to assemble disparate data sources to connect voice of customer to operational data. This includes applying generative AI techniques to the data sources to harvest the insight and make accessible to the enterprise.
* Own all business critical configurations in Qualtrics, Quantum Metric and other VOC solutions related to VOC research.
* Work collaboratively with leadership across the product, design, customer experience, analytics, and engineering organizations to align on research needs and priorities and influence adoption of research techniques.

UX Design responsibilities:
* Deliver final user interface (UI) designs and detailed design specifications
* Define UX requirements, storyboard, interaction flows, wireframes and interactive prototypes
* Present design work to internal and external partners
* Participate in usability and A/B testing for continuous improvement of the experience
* Share domain knowledge and provide guidance and support to UX designers
Performs other duties as assigned

What you will need

  • Bachelor's Degree Or equivalent experience

  • 4-6 years UX/UI Design Required

  • 1-3 years VOC/UX Research Required

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced Agile environment, including the ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing requirements Required

  • Experience analyzing and synthesizing quantitative and qualitative data, communicating research insights and recommendations, and identifying areas for further exploration.

  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, etc. (High proficiency)

  • Advanced understanding of interactive design, information architecture and accessibility standards (High proficiency)

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (High proficiency)
