We're looking for a Safety Coordinator to join our client's team and play a vital role in protecting our employees and maintaining a safe, compliant workplace. Salary: $50,000 - $65,000/yr.

Schedule: Rotating

Key Responsibilities:



  • Assist in developing, updating, and enforcing safety policies and procedures (e.g., LOTO, PPE, Hot Work)
  • Lead and support safety training, new hire orientation, and annual compliance testing
  • Monitor safety performance, conduct audits, and ensure OSHA and environmental compliance
  • Assist in incident investigations and follow-up documentation for injuries, near misses, and hazards
  • Ensure proper PPE usage and verify tool/equipment inspections are up to date
  • Support environmental policies (e.g., stormwater, chemical handling, SDS management)
  • Participate in pre-shift safety meetings and perform hazard analyses for job tasks
  • Collaborate with maintenance, project teams, and contractors to ensure safe execution of work




Qualifications:



  • Associate degree or higher (required)
  • 3+ years of experience in Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE), with leadership experience
  • Background in manufacturing, construction, refinery, or similar industrial settings preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and rotating schedules
