Summary

The MIL Corporation seeks a Travel Reporting Analyst (Business Analysis, Senior Analyst) to support a federal government client in Washington, DC.

This position currently requires a remote schedule. Schedule is subject to change based on company/contract requirements.

This position is currently unfunded and is being posted in anticipation of a future contract award and funding approval. We are proactively identifying and engaging with qualified candidates. While candidates may be contacted for pre-screening, any hiring decisions will be contingent upon funding availability and final program requirements or client approval.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Travel Management Operations Manager in the creation of all required weekly, monthly, quarterly and customized management travel and accounting reports for the project.
  • Responsible for building, formatting and quality controlling all reports provided to the customer.
  • Format reports to comply with both client and Federal Travel Regulation (FTR) requirements.
  • Ensure reports are provided via email and as web-based reports, such as PowerBI dashboards.
  • Provide all report data as data extracts to the client.
  • Perform analyses of trends, outlier data, statistics, cost and travel refund information, and areas for improvement and cost savings.

Required Qualifications

  • 5 years supporting government travel program reporting and analysis
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Must have the ability to communicate technical as well as non-technical information clearly, both orally and in writing
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • SAP Concur or CWT E2 travel systems experience

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with Department of Homeland Security (DHS) travel programs
  • Experience supporting reporting and analytics utilizing dashboard tools such as Tableau and PowerBI

Education

BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Finance, Accounting or other relevant Business Field

Clearance

DHS Public Trust; Employment is contingent on passing the govt clearance process

Compensation

For this position, the projected compensation range is $95,000 - $115,000 per year. This estimate represents the typical salary range and is just one part of MIL's complete compensation package.
