J56 NPES Recap Testing

Apogee has an exciting new opportunity for J56 NPES Recap Testing to support cutting-edge research, development, and technical analysis efforts for US Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM)/J56 and the Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3) Enterprise Center (NEC). This role involves advancing mission planning and execution capabilities for strategic deterrence through systems engineering, Agile/DevOps practices, and continuous integration/delivery methodologies. Contractors will be engaged in evaluating and enhancing the survivability, interoperability, and reliability of strategic weapon systems while contributing to planning documents, test and evaluation strategies, and rapid technology fielding efforts. This is a unique opportunity to work on mission-critical NC3 software and systems that shape national defense strategies, and collaborate with

diverse DoD and government partners to drive innovation and operational excellence in support of the strategic enterprise.

This is a full-time position located at Offutt AFB, NE

Support Software Quality Assurance (SQA) to ensure that developed software meets and complies with defined or standardized quality specifications.
• Perform work that applies broad and practical knowledge of software applications to include, but not be limited to, reviewing, preparing, and analyzing all types of documentation, planning, requirements, design, support, and testing.
• Provide test support for government programs, including assisting and coordinating test events with interested parties (program office, contractor, user, AFOTEC, external agencies).
• Support where needed the planning, managing, and execution of the independent government test and evaluation portion of Developmental Test & Evaluation (DT&E); act as the Lead DT&E (LDTO) POC.
• Support Readiness Reviews and support Production Readiness Reviews.
• Improve operations by conducting systems analysis, recommending changes in policies and procedures.
• Develop technical documentation such as user guides, training manuals, and system specifications, before distribution to end-users, and ensure applicable subject areas are accurately represented

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
Clearance: Must possess and maintain a TS w/SCI eligibility
Education: Bachelor's degree
Years of Experience: Minimum of 15 years relevant experience to include:

• 5 years supporting the DoD
• Experience creating and executing NPES Test-Cases
• Experience creating and managing Test Repositories
• Experience coordinating test events with FMO/PMO/AFOTEC
