Senior Events Manager - Remote, Twin Cities Based

Pay: The anticipated salary range for this position is $61,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Compensation is determined based on a variety of factors, including relevant work experience, the skills required for the role, internal equity, market competitiveness, and budget considerations. Schedule:
Full-time, 40 hours per week

Shift times: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm

Location: Remote

Job type: Exempt

Travel: Occasional travel required for fundraising events in Minnesota, North Dakota, Iowa, and Nebraska

Job Summary:

Under the immediate supervision of the Director of Donor Engagement and Annual Giving, the Senior Events Manager will oversee the planning and execution of fundraising events within the PPNCS Foundation. The position will lead the coordination of select events across the affiliate, focusing on seamless event management and implementation. The Senior Events Manager supervises the Events Specialist and works closely with internal teams, vendors, volunteers, and community partners to enhance donor engagement and support Foundation goals. The Senior Events Manager is an advocate in implementing our mission of "Advancing and protecting sexual and reproductive healthcare for all." They may perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience planning and coordinating successful events
  • Access to independent transportation, valid driver's license and current vehicle insurance, with willingness to drive to different locations within the affiliate as needed.


Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:



  • Supervise the Events Specialist and work with them to achieve event and Foundation goals.
  • Oversee and assist in coordination and management of donor-focused fundraising events, including creating and managing event timelines and projects, executing event plans, and handling invitation production and mailings.
  • Set and maintain event budgets and goals with Foundation leadership.
  • Plan and execute event logistics, including contract management, catering, decor, equipment rentals, fundraising technology, security, guest seating, event preparation, day-of execution, follow up, and reporting.
  • Oversee the management of events-based data in Raiser's Edge, including data entry, running queries and reports.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with venues, vendors, community partners, cross-departmental staff, donors, and volunteers.
  • Assist with other development activities and perform other duties as needed.
  • Travel and attend all major fundraising events across the affiliate.
