How you make a difference in this role: Are you looking for an opportunity to work with Tennessee State Parks Our Tennessee State Parks are among the most beautiful parks in the United States. This position is at Cumberland Mountain State Park, located on the scenic Cumberland Plateau, just four miles south of Crossville, TN, which offers numerous outdoor recreational opportunities. Cumberland Mountain is one of the oldest parks in our system and contains several historic structures built by the Civilian Conservation Corps, including the iconic stone bridge/dam that impounds Byrd Lake. The park's amenities include a campground, cabins, boat rentals, a CCC museum, an aviary, gift shops, hiking and biking trails, an Olympic-size swimming pool, an assembly hall, playgrounds, picnic areas, and a restaurant and golf course operated by the Tennessee State Parks Hospitality Division Job Overview: The position requires excellent customer service skills, the ability to effectively interact with diverse guests, and a strong commitment to community outreach. Preferred candidates will have five or more years of experience in parks and recreation management and natural or cultural resource management. Educational requirements include a minimum of a bachelor's degree in Natural Resources, Forestry, Wildlife Biology, Parks and Recreation Management, or related fields. The candidate is required to be a State Commissioned Officer recognized by the Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy or be willing to become commissioned. Key Responsibilities:
