Childbirth Community Education Coordinator Part Time Second Shift

Shift: Second

Job Summary:

Provides education to the community in a variety of settings i.e. maternity classes, health fairs, speaking engagements, and hospital tours. Serves as a resource and/or referral to hospital services. Develops and coordinates specific education programs.

Responsibilities:

Identifies plans and implements education program within specialty area for community, patients, and family.

Promotes hospital services to community organization.

Enhances self-development on a continual basis.

Requirements:

Active Kentucky License.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

Prior work experience in Women's and Children's Health, preferably within Labor and Delivery.

American Heart Association BCLS Healthcare Provider and BCLS Instructor (hospital will provide training if not currently an instructor).
